2. Our Services

Engyeya Safaris provides safari tours, accommodation bookings, and related travel services in East Africa. We act as an intermediary between you and third-party service providers (lodges, guides, transport operators).

3. Bookings and Payments

When you make a booking:

A deposit (typically 30%) is required to confirm your reservation.
The balance is due before your departure date, as specified in your booking confirmation.
Prices are subject to change until a booking is confirmed. Currency and payment methods are as stated at checkout.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation terms vary by tour and accommodation. Generally:

Cancellations made well in advance may qualify for a partial refund, minus any non-refundable fees.
Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of the deposit or full payment.
We recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

5. Changes to Bookings

We will endeavour to accommodate changes to dates or itineraries where possible. Changes may be subject to availability and additional fees. Modifications must be requested in writing.

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide accurate information when booking and maintaining your account
Ensure you have valid travel documents (passport, visas, vaccinations) for your destination
Comply with local laws and respect wildlife and the environment during your travels
Inform us of any special requirements, allergies, or medical conditions that may affect your trip

7. Limitation of Liability

Engyeya Safaris is not liable for:

Loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics)
Acts or omissions of third-party service providers
Personal injury, illness, or loss of belongings except where required by law

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant booking, where applicable.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website (text, images, logos) is owned by Engyeya Safaris or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it without our written permission.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
