10 Days Safari Adventure In Uganda

After breakfast, you will be picked by our company representative and kick start this day’s nature adventure with an exciting road trip to Murchison falls National Park with lunch en route. Upon arrival inside the park, you will be amazed by the beautiful landscape while occasionally sighting warthogs and other wildlife with a drive to the top of the fall whose views are breathe taking. About 300 – 400 cubic meters per second of Nile water force through a tiny gorge of about 7 meters to plunge into a violent tempest in a whirlpool about 42 meters below. It is such a beautiful sight with incredible picture moments here. Have an evening game drive as you transfer to the lodge for relaxation and dinner at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

After your early morning breakfast, our driver guide picks you up for the early game drive. Explore the major game trails especially around the northern part of the park for good game spotting including of Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Antelopes, Jackals, Hyenas, and Uganda kobs, Waterbucks, Jackson’s Hartebeests and hopefully the elusive Leopards among others.

Later on, get your lunch break and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time. Later we set out for the afternoon Boat Ride on the Victoria Nile which is the high spot of any Murchison Falls Safari for you get to spot lots of animals at a close encounter. You will have to spot lots of hippos, Nile crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, and many other animals that come to drink water, refresh and cool themselves off the scorching sun and some animals to eat the fresh grass along the river banks. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

In the early morning, take fascinating walk in the crater lakes region where you will marvel at the magnificent plantations and undulating land scape. Later you will transfer to Uganda’s Premier destination through plains and back drops of the Rwenzori Ranges heading to rain shadow. Upon arrival you will lunch break ad later embark on boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel for about 25Km most exciting safari by boat from Mweya peninsula along Kazinga channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife, bird’s life and opportunities for good photographs. Moreover, you will see plenty of hippos, buffaloes and elephants while drinking from the channel. In the evening you go for another short game drive and try out your luck. Dinner and overnight at Kikorongo Safari Lodge. Full Board.

After breakfast, you will go for a game drive along the tracks of Kasenyi in the national park, in the Northern sectors and towards Lake George and Kasenyi village. You might see lions, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, topi, Uganda kobs, perhaps the leopard which is a rare sight. Later you head to the southern sector, Ishasha, a vast savannah between the rivers Ishasha and Ntungwe. After lunch, take a game drive in search for the “tree climbing lions” which are seen during the hot hours of the day, as they lie resting on top of Figs trees. See also herds of buffaloes, elephants, topi antelopes and more. Dinner and overnight at Kikorongo Safari Lodge. Full Board.

After breakfast, leave you go around Ishasha sector where you may glance at the tree climbing lions as well as Buffaloes, and Antelopes, Later you will drive to Kigezi region located in south Western Region and you will be covered in the smell of Bwindi tropical forests which are the natural habitat for the endangered mountain gorillas. Lunch en route. Reach Bwindi National Park by evening for dinner and overnight, Full board.

Note: Today transfer can be long up to 7 hours and depends on roads conditions and place of allocation of gorilla permits. The choice of the area of the gorilla safari depends on the availability of permits.

In the morning you will head to the briefing site with packed lunch and enough drinking water and later you will head out to a gorilla search expedition safari. The activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Bwindi forest in Uganda has a population of about 370 gorillas, which is half the world population according to 2007 gorilla population surveys. It is not predictable the time you will spend to encounter the gorillas.

You have one hour for observing the primates and their behaviors, while taking photographs. Ensure you take the packed lunch and water with you in the bag and for this you might need the support of available porters. Dinner and overnight, Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge. Full Board.

After having breakfast at your pace, you will leave the Bwindi and transverse through the rolling savanna grassland to the undulating terraced hill of Bunyonyi. Have a fun time to relax by beautiful Lake Bunyonyi. Leave Lake Bunyonyi behind and continue driving through the hilly areas, out of the vast savanna dotted with acacia and shrubs. Have a boat cruise depending on the time of arrivals. Dinner and overnight at Eagles Nest Lodge.

After having an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo national park. This park is famous for Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Elands, Cape Buffalos and many tropical bird species. Checkout of the hotel and transfer to Jinja. But along the way, you will make a stopover at the Equator line to have an authentic feel of standing at Latitude 00 the pearl of Africa!! We shall embark on a drive to Jinja tour with many stopovers to view some of the icon places on your way to Jinja. We shall have Stopover at Mabira forest and have a forest walk to check out different primates and also a relaxing view of a number of butterfly and bird species. After there, Continue to Jinja to see the source of the Nile and the spot where Speke viewed the Ripon falls in 1862 and then have time to take photos. Later go to the Lodge for resting.

Start with breakfast and head to the starting and briefing point. The rafting crew will assist you with proper gears and give practical safety briefing for your rafting trip. You raft the rapids and a break is allowed for you to catch a breath. Lunch break is available and transfer back to the Entebbe for your flight back depending on flight time.
