3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari
Overview
This Safari will take you through Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for sculptured landscape with rolling grassy hills and its idyllic Crater Lake shores with a variety of different species of mammals and birds and the home of Tree climbing Lions.
In the extreme west, Queen Elizabeth National Park – the world’s most bio diversity wildlife sanctuary featuring Lions, Leopards, Hippos, African Elephants and Cape Buffaloes not forgetting the beautiful launch cruise along Kazinga channel will make your safari memorable!
Day-by-Day Itinerary
On this day, you will be met by our company driver guide early in the morning from your point of pick up and depart for Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have lunch en route or at the lodge depending on time.
Upon reaching Kyambura, you can have an evening community walk around the surrounding natives of Queen Elizabeth national park or just relax at the lodge with stunning views as you wait for the next day’s adventure. Diner and overnight at Buffalo Safari Lodge.
Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five including Buffalos, elephants, Lions and other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas and water bucks. In the afternoon hours you will partake in a launch cruise along Kazinga channel.
You will be treated to an awesome sight of elephant herds, buffaloes, antelopes, and thousands of birds including Pelicans and African Dartas. Not forgetting that the channel has the highest concentration of hippos in Uganda. Dinner and overnight at Buffalo Safaris Lodge.
Have an early morning breakfast then drive back into queen Elizabeth national park aiming a scenic archeological view of the crater zone. The huge round basins scattered across the equator are evidence of the Albertine Rift’s bubbling volcanic activity in times. You will have a chance to go to the salt lakes as well. Later embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala or Entebbe to be dropped at your point of call in the evening.
